Purchase

The process of buying a boat can be as anxious and stressful as selling it. Great Harbour Yachts offer a Buyer’s Broker service to assist with the purchase of your next yacht. As a Buyer’s Broker, we represent you, not the seller, and our commission is taken as a split from the broker representing the seller, so our services are often completely free to the purchaser.

First, we can provide you with a yacht search and recommendations based on the size and type of yacht you are looking for, along with a value analysis of the asking price. We can do this by scouring our sources and network of broker contacts to access not only boats which are actively listed, but also boat which may not yet be on the open market.

We can then assist you with the negotiation of the sale, including price, help with the paperwork, assist with viewings and setting up a survey and sea trial. Then, if the survey or sea trial pick up any defects with your chosen boat, we are on your side toe resolve the issues in a manner that suits you.
